Improve UI/UX of program step connection

For the new program layout a user cannot currently tell when adding a new placeholder or action if the connection to the previous step has been made successfully. Perhaps you can create a snap action that when the new step is added and you drag it on to the screen it will snap to the end of the step that you hover it over or at least make the dotted line become solid when successfully added.

We made some updates to the connection process in May, but sounds like you are looking for a bit more. Thank you!. we will continue to monitor the user experience to prioritize this work.

When connected the dotted line becomes solid.

It would be nice if the dotted line was red or something until connected. We just ran a program and missed a connection (didn't noticed the dotted line vs solid line) and so the program got stuck. Thanks for reviewing this.
