No description is presented regarding the initial "define" icon in the new program blank blueprint template. Novice users may not be aware that this icon is an "entry point" and that subsequent action elements need to be attached to it. Simply adding a hover context indicating "Entry Point" would clarify it's intent.
How will this idea be used?
This will help reduce the learning curve for novice users during there initial exposure with the "Programs" UI. Because the "Entry Point" icon appears on the page with the "define" link, and opens into a form modal when clicked, it appears that its only purpose it to facilitate configuration of the program. There is no indication (either by hover text or within the form modal) that it's intended to serve as the entry point. When dragging other actionable elements to the work space, there is no indication that the program flow is incomplete (i.e. the initial connector is in a detached state), thus a novice user can assume that the flow begins with the left-most open connector.
