Add back the search box!

I started using the new UI today that we all will be swapped over to at the end of Oct. They have removed the search box. So you can not search for any templates, queries etc. So if your like we are and have many folders of templates, you can not search, you have to know where that template resides, and have the correct name to find it.

I agree this is a crucial element! Especially when investigating programs, I usually just copy and paste the contact source name into the search bar.

Search option is a must-have element. Agree with below comments. Several of our team members use that feature.

We use CNTROL F then to get browser search box. This can go horribly wrong, if you mistype. I've spent many a happy hour fixing random letters dropped in between the code.

We agree this is important too! It's on our roadmap, and should release on Nov. 17th.  The search for queries, databases, contact lists, mailings will be available through the Watson Assistant.  For example, you search for "show me test query" and Watson will find it for you and show you some other cool stuff, like mailings associated with that query and quick access to the query criteria.  Stay tuned for more details coming out soon.

I’m still not seeing the search function. I see it for data bases and queries but no general search function. I’ve tried under the Watson Assistant, and it’s not working there.

Hi,  Thank you for your response.  The functionality should be available on 13 December 2018.  Apologies for the delay.

To my knowledge, this is still not available. Sure, you can use Watson, but typing in a command just to search is incredibly inefficient.

Nay updates on this implementation? As of today there is still no search function for email templates.

According to Beth's post below (from 09 November last year) the funcionality was supposed to be added on 13 December 2018, it's still not there. And now I was told by IBM support that if I think the serach box should be added I could "vote for the idea" of having it back. I can't even believe that IBM can't see itself (without the users "voting") how crucial the search box is.

We are a new client and we need to retroactively tag our sent mailings to create brand specific automated reporting.  PLEASE add it back.  Thanks!

Hello, this is still not present across all of WCA and certainly not for searching Sent mailings. Can we have an update please?

    Thanks

Another user here. Please add back the advanced search function as we need to add tags to mailings retrospectively for reporting. IBM knowledge center still advises the use of the search box for this action.

    Hi everyone,

Yesterday we released the former WCA Advanced search back into the menu or "ribbon."

Please know, this is a short term solution.  Long term, when the Watson Assistant can understand concepts without context, we will transition back to using Watson Assistant.

(Before we do that I'll reach out to some of you and see if you'd like to perform some user testing.)

Can we have the ability to filter between program and regular mailings in this search? Searching by a brand name returns literally every automated email we've sent recently, and there's no clear way to filter that.
