Well said! Something better than what we have now when you think about the design functionalities offered by people like MailChimp or free design services like! This would benefit us massively.

Personally I find most people import HTML directly and then make tweaks in the system. I've seen very few cases of people building from scratch - mostly because the creative element takes place in a separate team from the campaign execution, or via an agency. I'd rather have the product development focused on other areas than this but also interested to know stats on whether many people are actually building templates directly in the system.

We use saved HTML blocks from the Asset Library to build up templates in a modular fashion. This works but is restrictive to what was saved in the Asset Library.

Adding a proper drag and drop editor would benefit a lot of marketers who use the platform that don't have a design team or HTML experience themselves.
