There is currently no way to get WCA to email (or SMS) a stakeholder when there's been a failure, whether it be from sending an Email, sending an SMS, calculating a contact source or any other data job. This is especially important for scheduled tasks.
This should not be a blanket rule (as sometimes scheduled tasks don't actually have any data to process), but something that can be opted into for certain event types, or certain mailings.
How will this idea be used?
As a marketer, I need to know when a mailing I have scheduled has failed to start sending so that I can investigate why.
