update left side navigation experience

The sidebar was an interesting design choice, it makes for a clunky UI experience. When I'm trying to navigate any page but accidentally move my mouse too far to the left, the options for whatever icon I click on will expand and take like 5 seconds to disappear.

    Hi @wlee,

We are evaluating a series of updates with the menu content and behavior.  In the meantime, you can pin the navigation ribbon (menu) and remove it completely from interfering in your work by clicking on the top blue hamburger menu.

We'll be spinning up research and validation on designs soon.  Can we reach out to you for a design review?

Yes, I agree that this is a much needed change.  Most websites that open menu options on mouse cursor "hover over" have a slight delay built in, so that the cursor needs to be over the side bar navigation for a set number of seconds before it opens.   This helps to avoid opening it every time the cursor is moved unintentionally over the side bar navigation.
