Set VMTA at a Program Level

It is currently not possible to take advantage of omnichannel marketing via Programs if your Master Database is using multiple VMTA's, for example for country or brand. Adding this option in would allow databases set up in this way to use the Program feature across all their VMTAs.

How will this idea be used?

This idea will allow databases with multiple VMTAs to use the Program feature. This is especially important considering SMS and Mobile can only be associated to one database. At the moment, not being able to specify the VMTA is very limiting.

    Hi Dianne, thanks for following this up. It's becoming an urgent need for some of our clients. In one particular client, we need to now consider whether to move to multiple orgs with multiple Unica integrations in place or forgo the use of Programs for all but one of the brand's regions. The specific use case is that a multi-national company with brands across 5 different regions requires the use of specific IPs for each of these brands. They are also multi-channel comms and in order for them to use the SMS and Mobile App channels across the brands, each brand needs to be hosted on the same database. The result of this is that only one brand (IP) can make use of the Program functionality as well as other VMTA specific functionality in WCA. I believe the same issue lies with Automated message groups but we are for now focused on Programs. We would like to setup multi-channel welcome journeys for each brand as a starting point and then build out a variety of campaigns for the specific customer journeys.
