query "link name contains” or "template name contains" for queries or scoring models

instead of adding each individual link from each individual mailing template, allowing a query to search the link name would allow to query on types of links (provided you named your links with this in mind)

How will this idea be used?

I would use this to facilitate scoring models on different areas of interest from link clicking data from our monthly newsletter. Instead of needing to manually update long complex queries every week when a newsletter is sent, queries could be written once and then link names would include clicks on that link into the query.

Completely concur. We often want to segment people who view a certain silo or page path portion versus a specific page.

This would be a great addition to the tool. Perhaps leveraging the tag feature would help here: developing the possibility to add tags to hyperlinks in the same you can currently add tags to templates, and exposing this in the query tool, allowing users to query mailings / links with certain tag(s) applied.
