How will this idea be used?
Customers click on different link in e-mails. It can be useful to know if they click on specific type/category of links. For example: always on promotional links, on links of certain product categories,... If you could use this information as a marketeer it will help you to enrich the profile of your customers, be able to use this in scoring, in building queries, in creating dynamic content...
Today you can only do this by choosing clicked link X.
