Use Send Time Optimization with Child Relational Tables

It's currently not possible to use STO with relational table audiences. This is a need to accomplish, robust, relevant, and timely personalized messages.

This idea will allow users to schedule emails with STO to audiences created using relational table data in the query.

    We use child relational tables and don't have access to this functionality. We definitely need it

     STO sends a message, at the time a contact is most likely to open based on history.  You can use RT queries for sends, for program entrance, and within program rules and rules for dynamic content. CRT Criteria not currently available for use in Programs, but is on the roadmap.

    Can you provide some additional specific use case details?

    @ Diane Bowman.

     

    We work with the Jenny on implementing and setting up WCA. Our clients have several CRTs, and want to be able to leverage that data in Ad Hoc blasts (with STO) and  within automated programs.

     

    The much of the data in the CRTs is itemized customer purchases and transactions, which is highly valuable in creating cross selling and upselling automated streams.

    @Diane Bowman - To build on @Reid's example - since the transactional information we're using is in CRTs, we want to leverage STO when employing an up-sell, cross-sell, or targeted offer message, to boost its relevance and continue working towards truly 1:1 communications. For those types of messages in particular, the combination of past purchase history and STO could result in significant business impact.

    Use of Child relational table criteria is not yet supported within programs, but we are working on enabling this and are aware of the need.

    Although the specific release is not planned yet, this is on our roadmap and a priority for CRT functionality. Thanks!
